Color-coated board, also known as coated board, is a building material made of metal coils and coated or laminated on the surface of various organic coatings or plastic films. The main types of substrate types of color-coated boards are:

  1. Cold-rolled substrate color-coated steel plate

Colored plates produced from cold-rolled substrates have a smooth and beautiful appearance and have the processability of cold-rolled plates; however, any small scratches on the surface coating will expose the cold-rolled substrate to the air, causing red rust to quickly form on the exposed iron. Therefore, such products can only be used for temporary isolation measures that are not highly required and for indoor use.

  2. Hot-dip galvanized color coated steel plate

The product obtained by applying organic paint to hot-dip galvanized steel sheet is hot-dip galvanized color-coated sheet. In addition to the protective effect of zinc, the organic coating on the surface also plays a role in isolation protection and prevention of rust, and the service life is longer than that of hot-dip galvanized sheet. The zinc content of hot-dip galvanized substrates is generally 180g/mr (double-sided), and the zinc content of hot-dip galvanized substrates for building exterior applications is up to 275g/mr.

  3. Hot-dip aluminized zinc color-coated sheet

The product obtained by coating the organic coating on the hot-dip aluminized zinc steel plate is the hot-dip galvanized color-coated plate, and the aluminum-zinc content in the hot-dip aluminized zinc steel plate is 55% Al-Zn and 5% Al-Zn.

  4. Electro-galvanized color-coated sheet

The product obtained by using electro-galvanized sheet as the substrate and coating it with organic paint for baking is electro-galvanized color-coated sheet. Due to the thin zinc layer of electro-galvanized sheet, the zinc content is usually 20/20g/m2, so this product is not suitable for use outdoors. Make walls, roofs, etc. But because of its beautiful appearance and excellent processing properties, it can mainly be used in home appliances, audio, steel furniture upholstery, etc.
